Styling up kids rooms can be a lot of fun and also quite stressful! Lucky for us in todays society with social media, we have at our fingertips so many fabulous accounts to follow and be inspired by. We have searched high and low and have selected some captivating rooms from around the world.
1. Blushingly Magic
What girl wouldn’t love this blushingly divine room. The elegant pink and grey tones with the light timber and textures all compliment each other harmoniously. The layout is so functional and playful making you want to live here! What I love most is there is a space for everything: staircase to heaven leading up to the loft style bed for sleeping with a stunning wall light for reading; pull out storage under the bed; a table and chairs by the window capturing that natural light; and little storage baskets and boxes to hide away the toys. The feature wall of timber cladding creates a relaxed multi-functional living zone, where this space can be used to chill out in, or as additional sleeping quarters. Timeless in style and this beautiful space works for any age.

2. Custom Bunk Bed At It’s Best
When I first laid my eyes on this room from Amber Interiors, I was in heaven. This custom built bunk bed is the most amazing room that I have ever seen. The elegant clean white lines throughout this space from the bed frame that disappears into the ceiling, the shadow boxes at the bed head, to the built in shelving unit and drawers, all flow beautifully.
The wall lights and light timber flooring, bedrail and ladder are functional and create a warm ambience. Best of all, if you strip back the décor, it is a blank canvas, you can create magic in this space for anyone, boy, girl or even as a spare bedroom for guests.

3. Something Blue
You will never feel blue in this boys room. The lovely Tarina from @oh.eight.oh.nine is a stylist extraordinaire. Her flair for making rooms look so fresh and vibrant is pure bliss. And her son Chet’s room is the perfect example. The design elements in here just work so well together: scandi-style furniture, to herringbone wallpaper, textures and layers of bedding and décor in beautiful colour palettes. A magical feel with the canopy and string lights, and bedding that is timeless and of high quality. The walls, flooring and furniture are neutral and she spices it up with lovely tones of steel blue, ochre, powder blue and light greys. It is playful and stylish, what mum wouldn’t want this room in her home?

4. Newborn Freshness
When it comes to a nursery, there are so many spectacular rooms for little ones out there. I stumbled upon this divine space from @ohhappyday and the simplicity of styling and pops of yummy colour and animals are so new and fresh. To liven this space up a little, they painted the ceiling a peachy pink and I love how it feels calm and fun at the same time. Add a new rattan light and décor items and you have a happy place that any bub or toddler will love. A classic cot style, white and birch timber that will never date. Such a simply make over that makes a statement.

The talented ladies at Three Birds Renovations have completed some seriously amazing renovations. One that is a clear highlight is Bonnie’s Forever home. The children’s rooms in here are so fresh and playful yet compliment the styling and design of the entire home. In the boys room featuring two Ikea Beds which are freshly painted, they have centred two rattan hanging chairs that greet you on entry, creating a real chill out zone for the kids when they have friends over, or simply just want to relax.
A soft calming palette of white, olive and rattan with splashes of black, create this cool relaxed vibe. Palm prints, peace signs and our funky Skinny and Shorty Lockers by the beds for a cool school vibe where they can stash their belongings. A room that is perfect for the older child and teenager. Who wouldn’t want to chill out in this space?
